What is study really like?

Want to hear from someone who has been in your shoes? Student mentor sessions give you the opportunity to connect either online or in-person with current students from a study area you are interested in and hear what student life is really like. Student mentors share their journey of choosing a course, starting university, managing study alongside other commitments and accessing support. Listening to a student mentor can help you feel more informed, connected and confident about taking your next step. Available online. 

Participants will:
  • Gain insight from a specific study area
  • Hear practical tips
  • Ask questions
Each session will focus on one of the following study areas:
  • Criminology
  • Engineering and technology
  • Health and nursing
  • Psychology and social work
