We will consistently adopt a human-centred approach to AI use that aligns with our Strategic Plan and our commitment to create a better tomorrow and transform lives in every place we operate and with every community we serve.
Our UniSC AI enabled Framework assists us to achieve our vision, mission, and strategic goals. All forms of AI use at UniSC must adhere to our principles for responsible and critical AI use. Whilst we encourage staff and students to embrace AI where appropriate, we will ensure safe, responsible, equitable, and sustainable use of AI tools that aligns with learning and ways of working.
We will assess our use of AI to ensure effective management and monitoring of risks, ethics and purpose.
The university is committed to building AI capabilities in students and staff to enable experimentation and creativity, solution finding, and adaptive skills for employability. In doing so, we will actively contribute to human-centred approaches to AI use and to upholding academic integrity.
