*Not offered until Session 6, 2027* This course builds students’ understanding of the broader systems influencing orthotic and prosthetic professional practice and supports the application of this knowledge within a simulated work-integrated learning context. Students examine the legal, ethical, and governance frameworks underpinning funding, documentation, legislation and policy relevant to clinical practice. Through structured simulated and role-emerging scenarios, students develop professional identity, ethical reasoning, collaboration, and communication skills in preparation for contemporary orthotic and prosthetic practice.
