Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) is UniSC’s university bridging program that helps you build the skills, confidence and knowledge you need to progress into your chosen degree.

TPP is fee FREE for domestic students.

Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) helps you build the essential study skills, knowledge and confidence you need for your degree. Develop your skills in areas such as critical reading, academic writing, science, business and maths.

Selecting the right TPP courses for you will depend on your study goals and the UniSC degree you’d like to pursue.

After TPP

Successfully completing TPP can help you gain admission to many UniSC undergraduate degrees. After completing four TPP courses, you’ll be eligible for a selection rank.*  

Current TPP students, or those who have completed TPP within the last two years, can apply directly to UniSC for entry to an undergraduate program.

Year 12 students – apply through QTAC

If you're completing Year 12 this year and you wish to study TPP you should apply through QTAC. This ensures you can be considered for all eligible admission pathways and offers, such as the Early Offer Guarantee.

Non school leavers – apply direct to UniSC

If you know you want to study the Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP), you should apply directly to UniSC.

Also applying for a Bachelor degree? If you would like TPP considered as a pathway or backup option if you do not meet the entry requirements for your preferred program, you should apply through QTAC and include TPP as a preference.

Jamie’s journey to biomed

Jamie Bryant never went back to high school after his third expulsion. Bullied, troubled and at odds with academia in his youth, single dad Jamie is as surprised as anyone that at nearly 40, he’s close to graduating with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from UniSC, after making the decision to rewrite his academic narrative. It was UniSC’s fee free TPP program that made his entry to uni both seamless, and possible.
