Alumnus of the Year, Rising Star Award (October 2025)

Jessica Popple graduated from UniSC with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts in 2018 and is a Senior Associate at Pippa Colman Family Law where she advises clients about separation, domestic violence and child protection matters. Jessica has built a distinguished career in family law while making a significant impact across the Sunshine Coast community. In 2022, she was named the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland Emergent Woman Lawyer of the Year. She served three terms as President of the Sunshine Coast Law Association, the first UniSC law graduate to do so, has volunteered with the Suncoast Community Legal Service since 2017, and sits on the UniSC Law External Advisory Committee. Jessica also chairs the Mingary Care board, an in-home palliative care service, and was named Volunteer of the Year for Sunshine Coast Sports in 2023-2024.
