Once we’ve let the winners know they’ve won, we’ll send detailed information covering all the logistical information you’ll need. But, until then, here’s some of the important questions you might want answered.
Where do the trips start?
UniSC campuses are the start and end locations for each trip:
- Talk Sports, UniSC Sunshine Coast
- Science and Tech, UniSC Moreton Bay
- Environmental, UniSC Sunshine Coast
Are there costs involved?
No, once you have arrived at the start location, all food, activities and transport costs are covered.
Who is responsible for transport to the start location?
You will need to be dropped and picked up from the starting point.
Is accommodation included on the environmental trip to K’gari?
Yep – absolutely! The group will stay overnight at K’gari Research Station. You will need to bring a sleeping bag.
Can I bring a friend?
Not this time – sorry! But there will be 14 other students on this trip with you, so we’re sure you’ll make a few new mates.
Do I need my parents' permission to go?
Yes, winners will need their guardian to complete a permission form.
Will my dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes, we’ll send you a questionnaire prior and all dietaries will be covered.
What do I need to bring?
Sense of adventure, closed in shoes and a change of clothes. For the K’gari trip, you’ll also want a sleeping bag.
Will there be any swag?
Yes, we’re giving winners a water bottle, a Best Field Trip hoodie and an epic day (and a promise not to use any more outdated Millennial slang)
