Recent neuroscience shows that when a traumatic memory is recalled, it briefly becomes malleable. This process, known as memory reconsolidation, gives hope to people living with PTSD, acute stress disorder, and other impacts of trauma. International trauma expert Professor Alain Brunet will explain the memory reconsolidation process that occurs in the brain, and how our understanding of it has made possible a new effective treatment for trauma.
