This fully online master's program uniquely combines mental health and neuroscience, giving you the opportunity to examine the biological, psychological and social factors that influence mental wellbeing. Developed and taught by leading researchers and clinicians from UniSC's Thompson Institute, you'll learn from experts at the forefront of mental health research, education and advocacy.
You'll explore emerging areas of mental health and neuroscience, including neuroimaging, neurocognition, stress-related disorders, healthy brain ageing, suicide prevention and innovative approaches to treatment. Through a strong research focus, you'll develop the skills needed to critically evaluate evidence, apply research principles and contribute to improving mental health outcomes in professional practice, research or academia.

Eligibility
- If you have completed a bachelor degree in a health-related field such as medical science, nursing, medicine, psychology, health science or pharmacy (or similar), you are eligible for this program.
- Or, if you have completed an undergraduate degree in any other field (such as business, education, social work, etc), and have evidence of relevant employment experience linked to mental health work, you may be eligible.
