Understanding how to stay safe, access support services, and navigate everyday life in Australia will help you settle into Adelaide with confidence. This session will provide practical information on water safety, workplace rights and responsibilities, driving in Australia, banking, and local support services. You will gain valuable knowledge and resources to help you navigate life in Adelaide, make informed decisions, and successfully transition into your new student community. |

Visit a range of stalls hosted by key service providers and student organisations, including Medibank, StudyAdelaide, NAB, telecommunications providers, and superannuation services. You can ask questions, access useful information and student offers, connect with support services, and enjoy activities such as the petting zoo, cotton candy, and photo booth while getting to know your fellow students. |

This session will introduce emergency procedures, evacuation processes, and incident reporting systems at UniSC Adelaide. | Wednesday 15 July | Explore Adelaide and make new friends |
Studying in Adelaide is about more than attending classes - it is also about exploring the city, building connections, and becoming part of the local community. Familiarising yourself with Adelaide's history, culture, and attractions can help you feel more confident and connected in your new environment. This guided experience will take you to some of Adelaide's iconic locations, including the Treasury and Tunnel Tours, Museum of Discovery, JamFactory, and North Terrace precinct. You will gain insights into the city's history, culture, innovation, and creative industries while connecting with fellow students and discovering what Adelaide has to offer beyond the classroom. More information on time and meeting location will be provided during the Monday and Tuesday Orientation activities. |
