This course aims to provide you with an understanding of the health benefits associated with regular exercise/physical activity, and the functional and health limitations associated with cardiopulmonary and metabolic conditions. Course learning outcomes and content align with ESSA requirements and introduce concepts and guidelines for modifying exercise for clients with risk factors for, or cardiopulmonary and metabolic conditions. You will also gain further experience in clinical exercise testing, prescription and monitoring theory, policies and procedures.
