*Not offered until Trimester 2, 2029* This course applies neuroeducation, drawing on neuroscience, cognitive science and educational psychology, to explore how the brain acquires, organises, retains and applies knowledge. You'll examine how learners move from novice to expert by building mental models and knowledge structures, evaluate evidence-informed teaching practices that support learning and reduce cognitive overload, critically assess common neuromyths, and apply principles of memory and cognitive load to design effective learning experiences.
