*Not offered until Trimester 1, 2029* This course develops understanding of how constructive alignment supports learning, teaching & assessment. Students critically evaluate existing assessment tasks and design new, aligned assessment. They practise using formative & summative tasks to evaluate & report on student progress, provide feedback & plan learning by analysing data. Students engage with research, policy & curriculum & evaluate the varying stakeholders & purposes of assessment. We examine the interrelated nature of curriculum, pedagogy & assessment & learn principles that increase the validity & reliability of assessment.
