Research impact spotlight: Dr Jane Menzies

Dr Jane Menzies is a core member of the Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre (ITRC) at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), where she serves as Senior Lecturer in International Business and the Business Discipline Lead/Business Postgraduate Coordinator.

Research Focus

Her work explores the internationalisation of firms (particularly SMEs), women’s and Indigenous entrepreneurship, and equity in global business contexts. She also researches transitional experiences of international students and how global mobility, gender and culture intersect in business and employment.

Dr Menzies has contributed to understanding how Australian SMEs navigate international markets and how women and minority entrepreneurs manage the challenges of cross-cultural business and adversity.
