Primary goals
- Demonstrate best-practice establishment of socioeconomic baselines and monitoring for impacts of community-based reforestation for carbon projects.
Key outcomes
- Development of socio-economic instruments (e.g. household and key informant interviews on community capacity, fuelwood use, gender analysis) for setting baselines
- Analysis of community cohesiveness, demographics, livelihood interests, financial, physical and social capital, reforestation experience, and threats to forests within communities across Eastern Visayas, Philippines
