Tony Sowden is a commercial lawyer with specific interest in business structures and relationships, organisations' law, governance, corporate advisory and not-for-profit entities. 

Tony holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1986. Having been a partner of commercial law firms since 1988, both in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast, Tony has held numerous external roles including as director, company secretary and/or general counsel for many public and private corporations and institutions.
