Oliver is the elected Professional Staff representative on the University Council and a proud alumnus of the University of the Sunshine Coast. He holds a Bachelor of Business, a Bachelor of Science, a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). 

With more than 22 years of experience in the higher education sector, Oliver has built an extensive career as a professional staff member in Student Administration, demonstrating a strong commitment to student services and institutional excellence. 

Oliver currently serves as Vice President of the UniSC Staff Union, where he represents and advocates for administrative, professional, and technical staff. In this role, he brings valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing staff and is dedicated to fostering a supportive, equitable, and inclusive workplace environment. 

Oliver also serves as the University’s elected representative to the UniSuper Consultative Committee.
