Scholarship applications for Study Period 1, 2026 are now open and will close on Friday, 27 February 2026.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 20 March 2026.
Eligibility
- students enrolled full-time commencing either in one of the following 1 year Honours degrees:
- Bachelor of Business (Honours)
- Bachelor of Creative Industries (Honours)
- Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) (Honours)
- or enrolled full-time commencing their honours (4th) year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
- achieved a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.5 in their bachelor’s degree program

Please submit a statement (no more than 1,000 words) addressing the following key points:
- demonstrated interest and understanding of AI driven disinformation and political deepfake videos
- willingness to participate in Political Deepfake Discovery Honours Project activities such as team meetings, project administration tasks and research assistance for chief investigators
Value
Scholarships are valued at $5,000 and will be paid in two lump sum payments of $2,500 after the applicable census date following eligibility checks.
