Select your class times - HS, CI and Visiting

1. Plan your preferred classes

When class times for your teaching period are available, you can use the Timetable Planner to view your class options and plan your preferences. Check the key dates for timetable release information.

Using the Timetable Planner

  • Select your campus and enter your course code (eg BUS105).
  • Review the available class times and make a note of your preferred options. If multiple class times are available, choose up to three preferences.
  • Some courses have more than one class type (eg a tutorial and a laboratory). If this applies to your course, choose up to three preferred times for each class type.
  • Depending on your course, you may be able to choose between online and on-campus classes.

2. Submit your class preference form

Once you've identified your preferred class times, complete and submit your Class preference form so we can enrol you into classes.

To give you the best chance of being enrolled in your preferred classes, submit your preferences as soon as possible, as some classes may fill quickly.

While we'll do our best to enrol you in your preferred classes, it's a good idea to have alternative options in case your first-choice class times are unavailable.

3. View your class timetable

Once you've been enrolled in your classes, we'll notify you by email.

You can then view your personalised class timetable via the Student Portal homepage, under 'My Schedule', or in USC Central, including your class times and locations.

Some courses may have classes that alternate each week or do not begin until after Week 1, so be sure to check your timetable for each week of the teaching period.
