This year’s event brings together the teams at UniSC and Sunshine Coast University Hospital to showcase how research and care are improving heart health on the Sunshine Coast. Open to the local community, the morning will feature practical, easy-to understand heart health education and free cardiovascular health checks.

Join us at our Headstart Information Evenings where we’ll take you through everything you need to know about the program. Headstart gives school students a real university experience, allowing you to study first-year uni subjects and possibly receive credit to take time off your degree.

Join multi-award-winning producer and ABC broadcaster Dr Norman Swan as he leads this thought-provoking panel discussion on giving our wildlife the best chance of survival in an uncertain future.  Part of UniSC’s new ‘Building Better’ series, designed to ask the big questions, explore bold ideas and seek better solutions to create healthier people and a healthier planet. 

Proudly hosted by UniSC, this symposium aims to facilitate reflection on existing - and emergence of new - frameworks and community designs through the lens of ecological wisdom and regenerative societal relationships.
