OMEGA-FIT study

Can fish oil omega-3 help YOUR heart and blood vessels? A study tailored to you. Join a 12-week study testing individualised fish oil doses for people with heart disease. 

What we’re studying (our aim)

Test if an individualised omega-3 dose can: 

  • Improve vascular health
  • Lower inflammation in the body

Find the optimal dose based on your omega-3 level

How the personalised part works

A simple blood test shows your omega-3 level:

  • Lower levels get higher doses

Who can join

  • Adults with diagnosed coronary artery disease
    • Previous heart attack, heart vascular surgery, angina
