Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF) Food Subsidy
Through funding provided by the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF), UniSC offers subsidised food options to help support students while studying on campus.
Current students can access a range of discounted meals and food items at all University run outlets.
Please note: A valid UniSC Student Identification Card must be presented before payment to receive SSAF-subsidised pricing.
Campus Cafés and Eateries
UniSC offers a range of cafés and food outlets across campus, serving fresh meals, quality coffee, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day.
Eat.SC
Located on the ground floor of the Science Building (Building I), Eat.SC offers a variety of burgers, hot meals, pre-made sandwiches, snacks, barista-made coffee, cold drinks, and juices.
A wide range of dietary requirements are catered for, including vegetarian and vegan options. Look out for products sourced from local producers and suppliers.
Café C
Located on the ground floor of the Chancellery Building (Building C), Café C serves fresh salads, sandwiches, light meals, specialty coffee, and a selection of drinks and snacks.
Our menu philosophy focuses on responsibly sourced, local, and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. Most dietary requirements can be accommodated, and our team is happy to assist with any specific needs.
Café T
Located within the Health and Sport Centre (Building T), Café T is the perfect stop for quality coffee, cold beverages, healthy snacks, and grab-and-go options before or after classes, training sessions, or sporting activities.
Café J
Conveniently located between the Information Communications Technology Building (Building J) and the Library, Café J offers sandwiches, nachos, tacos, snacks, coffee, cold drinks, and juices.
The menu includes vegetarian, vegan, and Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF) subsidised meal options to support students on campus.
Venues and Catering
UniSC offers a variety of venues and event spaces available for hire across its campuses. As the University's exclusive catering provider, Venues and Catering delivers food and beverage services for functions, meetings, conferences, and special events held on campus.
If you are planning an event outside the standard café trading hours and would like to discuss the possibility of a retail outlet opening specifically for your function, please contact catering@usc.edu.au to discuss your requirements.
A Café
A Café offers a selection of hot meals, pies, sandwiches, sushi, cakes, snacks, barista-made coffee, and cold drinks.
Students can also access a range of SSAF-subsidised food items by presenting a valid UniSC Student Identification Card at the time of purchase.

Coffee and food vans
Coffee and food vans may operate on campus during special events, orientation activities, and selected University functions.
Vending on campus
Vending machines are conveniently located on campus in the student kitchen area behind The Rise and near the Library entrance.
The machines offer a range of snacks, cold drinks, and stationery items. Microwaves are available for student use in the kitchen area located in MBA.G.50.

There is a canteen located opposite the UniSC Gympie building in Block A of TAFE Gympie campus.

Monday-Friday: 9am–2pm
The canteen is closed Saturday–Sunday and during school holidays.
Students can also access a vending machine and SSAF funded Snack Bar inside the UniSC Gympie building and there is a student kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, basic cutlery and utensils, tea, coffee and milk.

Caboolture Campus Cafe
Espresso Wizard Coffee Van is now based in the Caboolture Cafe serving coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches and wraps and assorted treats.
Monday-Thursday during teaching weeks: 7.30am-1.30pm - Block B
UniSC The Nook @ N Block
During campus opening hours, students can access the UniSC Student Nook @ N Block. In this building, students have access to a kitchen which is regularly stocked with pantry items during trimester. Kitchen appliances such as a refrigerator, microwaves and a sandwich press are available. The UniSC Student Guild also operate a Food Bank from this building.
