Wendy Thompson is a Lecturer in Pharmacology within the School of Health, working with the Biomedicine team, and serves as the Course Coordinator for HLT209 Pharmacology for Allied Health. She is an AHPRA‑registered Clinical Pharmacist and holds a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy. Wendy is also a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
She has completed a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Wendy's research interests focus on pharmacy education and pharmacy practice. Her thesis, "The role of undergraduate education in developing a commitment to lifelong learning and continuing professional development,” explores the impact of university learning on professional growth.
