Dr Jolene Cox is a Senior Research Fellow in Mental Health and Systems Science and ARC DECRA Fellow at UniSC. She is also an Honorary Fellow at the Centre for Mental Health Research at the Australian National University (ANU). She holds a PhD in Psychology from the ANU.
Jolene’s research applies theories and methods from systems science to advance mental health research. In her ARC DECRA project, she will use psychological and systems approaches to understand how individual-level and systemic factors shape help-seeking behaviour and to design better policy interventions that improve access to support and outcomes for young people.
Jolene is an Editorial Board Member at Mental Health Science and an Associate Editor at Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries.
Before her academic career, she worked in the Australian Government in mental health strategic advisory and program delivery roles.
