Dr Jayamine Alupotha is a cryptography researcher and lecturer specializing in privacy-preserving cryptographic protocols, blockchain technologies, and post-quantum security. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, where her research focused on advanced cryptographic techniques for scalable and quantum-safe blockchain systems.

Following the completion of her PhD, Dr Alupotha joined the Cryptology and Data Security Research Group at the University of Bern, Switzerland, as a Postdoctoral Researcher under the leadership of Professor Christian Cachin. Her research at Bern focused on privacy-preserving cryptographic protocols, secure distributed consensus systems, blockchain security, and decentralized technologies.

Dr Alupotha's research interests encompass cryptography, blockchain scalability, privacy-enhancing technologies, secure distributed systems, and post-quantum cryptography. She is committed to bridging theoretical cryptography with real-world applications, inspiring students and researchers to develop secure and privacy-preserving digital systems for the future.
