Dr Abigail Koay's primary research is on network security and applied machine learning. Abigail obtained her PhD from the Victoria University of Wellington in 2019, where she developed tools and designed architectures for detecting Distributed Denial of Service Attacks. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, majoring in Computer Systems and Networking from the Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Her current research interests are in cyber security, traffic analysis, attack detection, wearable technologies, and data analytics
