Amy is a registered health practitioner (Physiotherapy) and a Lecturer at the University of Sunshine Coast with a focus on clinical education. She has qualifications in Manipulative/Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and a Master of Business Administration.

Amy has worked across a variety of clinical setting including acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and private practice where she has managed musculoskeletal, sports injuries and neurological cases. Her academic roles have contributed to discipline and interprofessional theoretical, skill-based and translational teaching and learning. She has extensive experience in the development and management of student-delivered clinical services.

Amy is a dedicated educator and manager with ample experience over three decades. Her service to health is broad, spanning clinical education, mentoring across all levels of the physiotherapy profession (undergraduate, postgraduate, professional development) and clinical service management. She has experience in physiotherapy curriculum development and delivery at multiple universities in Australia and the United States of America.

Amy is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and a member of the Australian College of Physiotherapy. She has an extensive service record with the APA in state and national leadership roles and within the International Federation of Orthopaedic and Manual/Musculoskeletal Physical Therapists (IFOMPT).
