Rose Foster completed a Bachelors of Arts / Laws (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2020. Rose commenced a PhD in 2022 at the University of Queensland, which investigates the legal barriers and opportunities for large-scale marine and coastal restoration.
Rose's research sits at the intersection of ecology and the law, with a focus on legal frameworks’ capacity to better support ecological needs now and into the future. She has previous experience working as a Research Assistant investigating legal and policy frameworks’ capacity to support novel approaches to restoration and adaptation in the Great Barrier Reef.
